In celebration of Wear Orange | National Gun Violence Awareness Day Saturday, June 8, Radio One along with community partners will host a Walk Against Gun Violence, Resource Fair and Day of Service along with community partners such as Better Family Life and Moms Demand Action. Wear Orange is a national movement to honor all lives cut short by gun violence. This day is also a celebration of life – and a call to action to help save lives from gunfire. Radio One St. Louis is spearheading this movement to take a stand against gun violence. The 2019 march will include St. Louis notables, victims of gun violence and vendors.
The community response to the 2018 inaugural year activities were amazing with participation of over 2000 concerned residents. All walks of life came together in solidarity for a crime free St. Louis.
