Whew. Its been an exciting week for sports fans specifically basketball and more specifically Michael Jordan’s 1990s Chicago Bulls. The 10 part docuseries “The Last Dance” premiered last week on ESPN and omg, I hate to say it, PIPPEN GOT PIMPED. $12 million for 7 years. The most celebrated 2nd man in the sport on one of the most celebrated teams of all time signed a contract for $12 million.

Now in the docuseries, Scottie Pippen explains that at the time he didn’t have the had to take care of his family, which is admirable, but when everyone even the coach Doug Collins tells you not to sign it, DONT DO IT.

Personally, I’m not mad at Pippen for almost bailing on the team during their 6th championship run because they were going to let him go at the end of the season anyway without trading him before the contract was up, but I also feel Michael should have stepped up and looked out for Pippen.

How Do You feel about Pippen’s contract? Sound off below
