St. Louis County announced a plan to release low-level offenders as apart of a tactic to slow down the spread of the coronavirus.

Over one hundred low-level offenders are hoping to be released while they wait for pre-trial dates. The county police union is against the idea and the St. Louis City Police Officers Association hasn’t commented on the idea proposed.
