NBA All Star Weekend just wrapped up with the NBA All Star Game finale game being played tonight and with it being BHM (Black History Month) it’s only right to highlight an African-American NBA legend. Elgin Baylor, of the Lakers at that time, became the first black pro player to win the NBA All-Star Game MVP Award. Baylor actually won this award in the year of 1959 which was also the year he won the NBA Rookie of the Year Award too.
