Our baseball hometeam, the Cardinals, finally wrapped up their 4-game-series today in Chicago against their all-time division and league rival, the Cubs. The Redbirds fell short by just winning one game only out of the four and losing the other three. With the Playoffs slowing approaching in October, the Cards have to win a significant number of games in order to at least become a Wild Card contender in the race for the pennant and World Series championship title. Our record currently sits at 50 wins and 49 losses. We are in fourth place out of five spots in our division. So, lets just pray the hometeam pulls it together soon so we can hopefully win another championship title!
