A teen girl in Chicago named Kenneka Jenkins went to a party at a hotel and was found dead in the hotel’s walk in freezer the next morning. Kenneka’s mother, Tereasa Martin, says the police told her that her daughter most likely wandered in drunk and died inside. But giving such a notion a little more thought reveals that it’s highly unlikely that she was drunk enough to lay herself down in a freezer, but strong enough to open its doors.

Police allegedly have walked back that supposition, and are treating the case less like an accident as her parents insist there is more to it.
