Kendrick Lamar is the cover story for Rolling Stone’s latest issue, and right under his name on the cover it says “the greatest rapper alive.” Apparently, this rubbed some folks the wrong way. But here’s the thing: it’s actually a pretty valid statement to make, even if you’re not a Kendrick fan or prefer somebody else.
