Chuck Berry Performs In Holland

Musician and St. Louis Native, Chuck Berry, has died at 90 years old.

According to reports, St. Charles County Police were called to a medical emergency on Buckner Road at about 12:40 p.m. Saturday, Mar. 18. Upon arrival, the police found a man inside the home unresponsive. They attempted to administer CPR, but was no successful. Chuck Berry was pronounced dead at 1:26 p.m.

Chuck Berry, whose music career spans seven-decades secures him as one of the original founders of Rock & Roll. His string of hits include classics Roll Over Beethoven and Johnny B. Goode.

In 1984, he was award the Lifetime Achievement Grammy, and was among the inaugural inductees at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986.
