Steph Curry’s deal with Under Armour has been all the buzz as of late. Mainly because the reigning MVP had been courted by their competitors, Nike and adidas.
This morning, ESPN dropped an in-depth piece on Curry’s Under Armour endorsement. The NBA All-Star revealed that his 3-year-old daughter Riley actually helped him chose the brand.
In the video below you’ll hear him describe her reaction to the three shows placed in front of her that fateful day: A Nike sneaker, an adidas sneaker and an Under Armour sneaker.
“Threw it over her shoulder,” Curry said of her reaction to the first shoe. “She picked up shoe two, threw it over her shoulder. She picked up the third shoe, walked over and handed it to me. So I knew right then,” Curry said.
That third shoe was the Under Armour Anatomix Spawn.
