“PETA has proven that there is a sexy way to suggest to people to rethink the fur,” talk show host Wendy Williams begins her behind-the-scenes video with the animal rights organization. Declaring “I’d Rather Go Naked than Wear Fur,” the ad campaign will be showcased in Times Square.
Williams has hung up her lux collection of mink and fox fur and hopes to encourage other fur lovers to donate their coats to PETA for them to give to the homeless. Together, the two will host several coat drives in Williams’ home state of New Jersey this winter in light of the events following Hurricane Sandy.
