Finsta grew up on the South Side St. Louis' where he honed his MC skills throughout the years as part of the hip hop group The Ruckus Crew. He got his start in radio with Sylvester the Cat on KDHX 88.1 and was noticed by Craig Blac, as a host of St. Louis' longest running hip hop night, the Hi-Pointe Café. At the end of the night, Craig invited him to the station to do a segment during his show and that started his career as a staff member at Radio One's St. Louis hip hop affiliate, Q95.5FM. A short time later, he was teamed up with his friend "Nappy DJ Needles" to co-host their own show called, "Phatlaces" a specialty show dedicated to playing Underground Hip-Hop and Soul every Sunday night. After a regime change and the birth of HOT 104.1, Finsta is still on-air every Sunday night with " The Legendary DJ Sno" playing &  promoting independent artist from St. Louis and all surrounding areas.
