T.I. and Gina Belafonte came to the morning show studio to talk about the first annual Many Rivers To Cross Festival, which is hosted by Harry Belafonte’s Sankofa Organization and features artists like Common, John Legend, Jussie Smollett and others. The festival, which will take place on Oct 1 & 2, intends to inspire people to be activists in their own right and allow people to shed light on the injustices in their communities. Gina explains how she and her father, Harry Belafonte recruit artists to join their efforts.
