What Did Young Jeezy Change His Name To?

After making a name for himself as Young Jeezy, the rapper born Jay Jenkins is dropping the name, or at least half of it.

Taking a cue from Bow Wow, Young Jeezy will now be known as Jeezy.

Young Jeezy’s new single art reflects the name change, as does Def Jam’s website.

At age 32, it’s about time that Young Jeezy dropped the “young” from his name.

Now if only we can let Lil’ Wayne know that he’s not exactly Lil’ anymore.
