Sitings of a gunman on the campus of Virginia Tech University has been reported, according to sources.

The campus is now on lockdown, issuing an alert via their website @ 9:37am stating for students and staff to remain indoors and to secure their doors.

The man was initially spotted by camp attendees currently attending the university.

This is the second time a gunman was reported on the campus.  The first was the tragic incident that took the lives of 32 people in 2007.
