Risen a Celebration of Black History continues with the founder of the internet, Phillip Emagwali. Originally from Nigeria he came to the United States as a student and attended five different universities and earned five degrees. He set the fastest computational record on the connection machine. He won the equivalent of the Nobel Peace Prize which is the Gordon Bell prize. He is still working to advance computers as we speak.

Young Money came out in full spirit to kick it with Lil Wayne at his “Going Away” party over the weekend in Miami. Wayne is set to start his 12 month sentence on Tuesday, February 9th at Rikers Island in New York. He was seen kicking it with Young Money member Shanell. Also in attendance was Julia Beverly of Ozone Magazine (she provided the pics), BG formerly of Cash Money, and Bow Wow (who was with a camera shy Angela Simmons.
